- translate the app into other languages or make derivative versions. Heriot-Watt University and the IndyLan partnership are committed to ensuring that the app is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the app at any time and for any reason. The app is free to use until 2025, after which a charge may be incurred for downloading and using the app.
The IndyLan app does not record or store any identifiable personal information however the system does processes usage data provided by users whilst using the IndyLan app. It is the user’s responsibility to keep their phone and access to the app secure.
The app does not use any third party services. The app is downloaded on users’ phones, so there is no need for an active internet connection unless the user clicks on external links. If you click on an external link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
The app is currently available on Android and iOS – these system requirements may change, and you may need to download updates if you want to keep using the app.
